Video clips are a means of social communication, or for the delivery and clarification of certain information, or a way to document specific events or otherwise, as video clips are a visual and audio way to display specific content, which is distinctive and different from the method of display based on images, static panels, or based on Written or read text is on broadcasts of different radio channels, and clips usually have a greater impact on the same scenes than other methods of presentation.
Write on the video
Written text can be added to the video clip; To enrich and enhance it, with the aim of increasing the benefit or emphasizing a specific point in the video, or clarifying a point that was not entirely clear in the video, and in order to write on the video clip, you must have a program for editing the video, and you can download one of these programs through the Internet, or Using one of the programs available on the Internet that allows editing the video without downloading the program itself, the most famous of which is the YouTube program, "YouTube Editor".
How to use YouTube Editor
- You must have a google account to use YouTube services, because it is a google site, you have to create a Gmail account if you do not have one.
- Go to www.youtube.com and make sure that you are registered in it first, then click the button on the top right of the page with the word (Upload)
- Click on the gray arrow icon in the middle of the page, and notice that the signal changes to red when you hover over it.
- A box will appear asking you to choose the video file that you want to upload to YouTube, select the file from the folder or (folder) in which you store it by clicking on it.
- The video uploading process will start immediately, and it will take anywhere from a few minutes to several hours, depending on the length of the video and the speed and capacity of your Internet.
- After the upload process is complete, wait a few minutes for YouTube to prepare the video for viewing, or for editing.
- Click the button on the top right of the page again, which is the word (Upload).
- Next, click on the scissors graphic, located in the bottom right of the page, with the word (Video editor) next to it.
- On the new page, you will find the icon for the video that you have uploaded, click on it with the mouse and drag it to the rectangle at the bottom of the page that contains the phrase (Drag videos here).
- You will find that the rectangle has turned into a long bar that displays the video, click in the space below the bar (not on it), until you have a vertical blue line with a small scissors sign.
- In the window in which the video is displayed, you can press the stop sign whenever you want, to divide the video into parts, or smaller sections. Until you add a different text on each of them.
- After you hit the stop sign, click on the scissors sign on the vertical blue line, until the video you uploaded turns into two clips.
- Click on the section of the long horizontal bar that you want to add text to, then click on the word "Text" at the top right of the page.
- Click in the small box next to (Enable text).
- In the rectangle on the right of the page, type the text that you want to appear on the video. Adjust the font size from the (Size) menu.
- Repeat the same process for other clips or parts of the video.
- Click the blue button, the word Create video.
- YouTube will ask you to wait for the edits you want to be made, and this may take several minutes or several hours, depending on the length of the video that you edited.
- Go again to www.youtube.com and make sure that you are registered, then click on the small square in the top left of the page, which contains three horizontal lines.
- Choose "My Channel" from the list.
- Click on the word (Video Manager) on the top left of the page.
- You will find the icon for the video you just edited with the word (Edit) next to it, and next to it is a small arrow that opens a menu when you click on it.
- Select the word "Download MP4" from the list, and the new and modified video with the added text will start downloading to your computer, and you can use it however you like.
